        Prerequisite: MATH 091 with a grade of "C" or better.
        Finite mathematics is a course designed to introduce interesting, relevant, and realistic applications for a variety of fields including business, economics, and social sciences. This course incorporates the use of technology to allow, increased visualization and a better understanding of concepts. It satisfies the mathematics general education requirement and is transferable. It is an excellent course for those students who will not need any other mathematics classes for their degree. Topics included in this course are systems of linear inequalities, matrices, linear programming, mathematics of finance, sets and Venn diagrams, combinatorics, and an introduction to probability and statistics.
