        This course will engage the student in learning the key concepts and scientific principles of Climate Science the Earth’s atmosphere by analyzing interactions among and between the Earth’s Systems as matter and energy are continuously exchanged. Topics included in the course are atmospheric structure and composition, solar radiation and energy balances, temperature, seasonal changes, moisture in the atmosphere, clouds and fog, precipitation, air pressure, winds, air masses, fronts and cyclonic activity, weather forecasting, climates and climate change. This course also focuses on the Earth and its inhabitants have changed though time, how humans interact with the aforementioned topics, and strategies to counter negative impacts associated with global climate change.
