        Recommended Preparation: ENGL 110 and ENGL 101. In addition, students are expected to have a basic familiarity with computer terms, to be able to use applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email, and to do online research. These skills can be learned in CIS 100.
        This course covers elements of family law, including elements of marriage under the law, relationships that can exist when one party enters into an invalid marriage, ante nuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage, child-support rights, division of community property in community and non-community property states, and the uniform child custody jurisdiction act. (CSU)
